The short version
We collect what an order needs and what tells us which ad brought it in. We never sell your data. We use measurement cookies to know which ad brought an order in; you can opt out in one click on the banner, and it costs you nothing on this site. 1. Who is responsible
The data controller is EMBRA DEALS (ABN 62 842 196 400), a sole trader in Australia — support@embradeals.com.
2. What we collect, why, and on what basis
- Your email and phone number — to confirm the order, send tracking and reach you if delivery goes wrong. Lawful basis: performance of the contract.
- Your name and delivery address — to deliver the bike. Collected on the secure checkout, with the payment. Performance of the contract.
- Your order — what you bought, when, for how much, and its delivery status. Contract, then legal obligation for the accounting record.
- Advertising identifiers in the link you arrived on
(
fbclid,ttclid,gclid) and measurement cookies — to know which ad produced an order. You can opt out at any time on the banner.
We never receive your card number: it is entered on our payment provider's secure page and stays with them.
3. Cookies
We use measurement cookies (Meta) to see which ad brought each visit and order. The banner tells you so on your first visit; Opt out is one click, and from then on no measurement cookie is set. Your choice is stored on your own browser; clear your site data to be asked again.
4. Who else sees it
- Our payment provider (Revolut or Hello Clever) — to take the payment and handle refunds.
- The courier — name, address and phone, to deliver the parcel.
- Klaviyo — to send order emails and, if you asked for it, the guide.
- Meta, TikTok and Google — measurement events, unless you opted out.
- Vercel — hosting.
Some of these providers are outside Australia. We take reasonable steps under Australian Privacy Principle 8 to make sure they handle it in line with the APPs.
5. How long we keep it
Order records: five years, because the ATO requires business records to be kept that long. Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe, which is one click at the bottom of every email. Measurement cookies: 13 months at most.
6. Your rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what we hold about you and get a copy of it, have it corrected, and ask us to delete what we no longer need. You can opt out of measurement cookies and marketing emails at any time. None of this costs you anything or changes anything about your order.
Write to support@embradeals.com. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992), and we would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
7. Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, write to us and we delete it.
